Ok, I shipped my Accurite thermometer that tracks the minimum temperature via USPS Priority Mail from CO to VA just to see how cold it gets in shipping.

Anyone want to guess what the minimum temperature reading will be? We will have the answer in 3-4 days unless USPS really screws up & loses my package. [IMG]

    My guess: 24F.

I guess it will be about 19 degrees.

Is the thermometer coming back to you?

are we guessing the temp when it arrives in VA or what it is in transit?

I'm in VA so.. I know what the temp is here LOL

We are guessing the minimum temperature during transit - it's one of those Accurites that will save the lowest and highest temperature that it registers.

I did clear the memory before I shipped it. [IMG]

My pilot friend said in air temperatures will be the same any time of year, summer or winter it will be the same. So the temperature will depend on where things are stored between flights.

I am sticking with 25 degrees!
