Depends on the game

like for racing i love fast paced techno

and for like shoot em up usually metal

and for platformer and others just the game music

OH did u guys hear that Nintendo told Gamestops everywhere to save space on their shelves for a game nintendo is making that they think is gonna be a HUGE hit! i hope its kirby for the wii!

Personally, I don't like listening to music except for in game music with video games.
I don't know if it's because it puts me more into the mood of the game or if it's because I'd have to sing too because I sing when I listen to music and that would use up more than half of my brain-
Too much to use while playing video games. It would throw off my concentration.
