Ok you're confusing me. By 2nd evolution you mean pink cocoon right?Then, no, a chao can be several years old before it does that. I don't even know if they call them "years".

I mean this:

Lets say a guy has a chao named Rydia. He evolves Rydia into a Hero Running. He THEN evolves her into a Hero Running Power. That's what I mean. No pink cacoon.

Ugh.. I hate when they call that evolving..... It confuses me. IMO, I don't think it is an evolution; you're just giving a lot of one skill. I don't know when it starts, you have to give it either yellow drives to make it a Run/Swim type, red drives for a Run/Power type, etc. etc.
