Sorry I missed all the fun an games. It has been a rough week here and today was just horrible. My faithful k9 companion of 13 years passed this afternoon after a long battle with serious health problems. So, it has been a pretty emotional time for me. My sweet girl, Shelby, has been by my side since before any of my kids were born. She has been there through every one of DH's deployments. And, when I took up gardening and chicken raising she was right there with me. I miss her terribly. She has been by my side almost every day for the last 13 years. Things are so different now.

I am so sorry for your loss They really are just like kids with fur. I have 2 that are 12 right now. They were also here before my kids and during my husband's deployment. I'm truely dreading the day.

You get them as this cute little ball of fur and energy, and never even consider that they will be anything other than your little furbaby. Thanks for all the support everyone. I am still an emotional wreck whenever I think about her; which is a lot at the moment. I am just trying to be thankful for the wonderful 13 years I had with her.
