So my 1 year old Lovebird Yune( pronounced Yoo-nay) and I have been going through basic training like learning to touch things and step up on command and he is so smart and doing well, but I've been trying to find games to play so that we can have fun in-between training so he doesn't get too bored with repetition. Also, Yune has a funny quirk that the breeder told me is rare in lovebirds,he plays with toys using his feet! But all the foot toys I see online look too big for him so does anyone have an idea what would be small enough for his foot to use?:) he loves things he can shake, carry or bounce on and bells to ring. Here's a picture of him...

I have a cockatiel that I made an obstacle course for. I made a ladder, a teeter-totter, something he has to step up on and stuff like that. He seems to enjoy it.

My lovebird Skeebie loved to play in paper grocery bags. I would open the bag and lay it on its side. Then cut a small hole in the bottom and stick my finger in it. LOL When he would charge full speed in, I removed my finger, he screamed with joy.

He also loved to ride on a piece of short rope. It was about 10 inches long and I would lay it on the counter and side it past his feet. He would get on and I pulled him slowly around.

Oh and the coin drop! Get some change and lay it on the table. Skeebie could entertain himself for a long time picking up a coin and dropping it over the edge, watching it fall, he again would scream with joy.

Riding around on my wrist while I vacuumed the floor was a huge game for Skeebie. He would scream if I was going too slow.

A bowl of popcorn can entertain them for quite some time too.

You have a cutie pie there! :love
