One of my chickens was showing signs of gape worm. I used safe guard paste fenbendazole 10%. I see online that people do it for three day’s continuously or they do it once and wait ten days and then do it again. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks.

Treatment for gapeworm with fenbendazole(Safeguard) is .23 ml per pound of bodyweight for 5 days in a row. The two treatments 10 days apart is for roundworm only. Gapeworm is not real common, what symptoms are you seeing? Sometimes crop problems or respiratory infections are confused with gapeworm.

The one hen will open her mouth like she is gasping for air and then rapidly shake her head. It is pretty frequent. No drainage anywhere.
