I’m almost certain my ducks have Gapeworm. Does anyone in Canada know of a dewormer I can give them that’s not provided from a vet. I’ll go to a vet as a last resort however it’s so expensive here. Thanks.

No...A Vet is your only option that I know of.I’m almost certain my ducks have Gapeworm. Does anyone in Canada know of a dewormer I can give them that’s not provided from a vet. I’ll go to a vet as a last resort however it’s so expensive here. Thanks.
I do not think you need to go to a vet because I'm pretty sure you can get Safeguard or Panacur horse paste. Either of those will treat gapes, but it does require giving it orally for five days.I’m almost certain my ducks have Gapeworm. This would be cheaper. Good thing you're speaking up.I do not think you need to go to a vet because I'm pretty sure you can get Safeguard or Panacur horse paste. Either of those will treat gapes, but it does require giving it orally for five days.
Ducks do get gapeworms, but they also get respiratory diseases, so if de-worming doesn't them you should think about having one tested for the various respiratory infections that ducks get.
Gapes are pretty rare on my property, but a few people like @Miss Lydia, @Ravynscroft, have had more of a problem with gapes in their flocks. The treatment I use for gapes is Valbazen for 3 days, or Safeguard or Panacur for 5 days. This would be cheaper. Good thing you're speaking up.
Zero knowledge here on gapeworms.
Here is a page from a TSC store in Ontario. This is what they have listed.
