I am becoming extremely concerned over the red mucus-looking red worm-like "things" I am finding in my hen's poo. I have taken these pictures in hopes that someone can help me identify this problem, and if they are gapeworms, what can I administer to my hens to get rid of this problem. Thanks so much for all and any help! Crazy Newbie Chicken Lady.

Definitely test it... then you will know exactly what you are dealing with and what to use to treat it.

From what I've seen in other posts, you can deworm chickens and ducks using Ivermectin, which you can get as a bottle of liquid from the cattle aisle in most feed/farming type stores and then just add to their food. We use Ivermectin for our horses and it covers a wide range of worms.
