Gapeworm? Something else?

Have you pried her beak open and examined her throat for any obstructive material? That's what this sounds like.

I've had a hen pull threads off a saddle they were wearing and these fibers can cause issues such as this. Or she may have picked up something she can't clear out of her throat.
We did try looking down her throat and didn't see any obvious obstruction, but per some other threads I read through, I added some coconut oil in her mash just in case. Unfortunately the issue persists! A family member mentioned that perhaps she had some internal injury to her neck during the attack that's now healing and causing discomfort. We're pretty stumped with this one!

I'm just seeing the newer video of her.
The coloring of her face/skin is off.

Have you ever had respiratory infection within your flock?

Could be she's getting something hung in the throat or she's recovering from bruising/internal injuries. But it's been month before this symptom showed up. I would say that you should have seen it right after the attack and as she healed, it would have gotten better/resolved by now, instead of suddenly appearing in the last 2-3days.

Have you gotten more birds (newbies) to replace the ones you lost by any chance?

What's her poop like?

I'd consider giving her a round of Tylosin to see if that helps. Not sure why she's that color. It could be liver dysfunction and not related to the noise/difficulty that she's having now. So hard to know...so many things can affect poultry.

We've never had any respiratory illness before, and haven't gotten any newbies yet as we're waiting to see what will happen with this gal and still working on the new coop. Her poops have been pretty watery here and there with some normal ones mixed in as well. I've noticed her coloring has been off intermittently, when I last checked on her maybe 30~ min ago it was a lot more normal than it is in the pic. I'll definitely try the tylosin

Here’s an update, there’s a lot of this happening
Can she go without the wrappings or does she pick at herself?

I'd be inclined to go ahead and deworm and treat for respiratory infection.

You can get Tylosin online. https://jedds.com/products/tylosin-powder?_pos=4&_sid=154b5976d&_ss=r

Safeguard (Fenbendazole) or Valbazen (Albendazole) can be used to treat for worms.

To treat most worms that poultry can have except for Tapeworm you can use Safeguard (Fenbendazole) or Valbazen (Albendazole). Both are given orally by weight; they do not mix well with water.

Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in a row.
---OR---
Valbazen dose is 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days

Here's how to give oral medications:

Thank you for the information! I ended up treating for gapeworm with fenbendazole, but the issue persists. Not sure if I should do another round at this point or switch gears and try to treat with Tylosin (which is unfortunately showing sold out...).
She had a very odd episode during which I was certain she was passing (found her laying on her side, shallow breathing, followed by noisy/agonal? breathing, a possible seizure, more shallow breathing) but then she popped back up as if nothing had happened and started preening.
She's gone maybe a week at this point without any wrappings and her wounds have healed really nicely, still eating and drinking and otherwise acting very normal. Just the gaping/respiratory stuff at this point. If you have another place you'd recommend to find Tylosin I would be grateful for that info as well!

I'm glad she's healed up.

It's disappointing that she's still having the gasping problem.

You can try All Birds Products for Tylosin. If you can't get that, then you can try Baytril, it's a much stronger antibiotic.
