Approx 10 week old hen has been stretching her neck out and breathing with her mouth open off and on for a day or two. no other symptoms. Eating, drinking and acting fine otherwise. None of the other birds are acting sick. It has been hot where we are. The barn they're in is around 100 degrees today but very low humidity. They do have 2 fans on them and they are able to free range outside. I tried to post the video but it won't let me.
Gapeworm vs heat stress? And what treatment is best/easiest for gapeworm?

Gapeworm is rare, but SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer 1/4 ml per pound for 5 consecutive days or Valbazen 1/2 ml once and again in 10 days, will treat them.

Some hens may not tolerate heat well in hot weather, and may pant with an open beak and hold their wings out from the body. Good end to end flow through ventilation is good, prevent dust and high temperatures inside the coop can be helpful. I usually point a fan out a window at the far end of the coop to draw air through the coop.

Everything looks absolutely normal. I stayed outside for awhile when I got home from work yesterday and watched her. She seems to have stopped breathing that way for the time. She was bee-bopping around with the rest of the flock. I'm hoping maybe she was just over heated or stressed. I'll keep an eye on her
