My buff orpington cockerel has gape worm, stretching neck and wide yawns with difficulty breathing and swallowing.had him on medicated feed and as he stopped eating changed to flubenvet powder double strength in yoghurt syringes down throat.that has been for 5 days now with no change.all I have is a cockrel covered in yoghurt, stretching and yawning.will this improve, how long will it be.any help please.

I agree, it's most likely a crop issue. Does he have free access to chick or grower grit (crushed granite)?

How old is he? Medicated feed is only for prevention of coccidiosis in young chicks. It does not treat anything else and can be harmful if fed too long.
