Gapeworm (??)

Morning all

One of my Col rock cockerels is showing some strange symptoms this morning. Stretching his neck way out, very muted crow, mouth open to breathe

From everything I can read, sounds like gapeworm (??)

I have Ivemectin pour on here at the house....is it effective on gapeworm?

I would make sure he has access to clean water.. He may just have something stuck in his throat.. I find my chickens doing this from time to time but normally clears up after they get a drink, especially since he's only been showing signs for a few hours... If it does not clear it up, then I would go ahead and treat...
