Garden Chckens

My chickens are pinned up right and will be till fall, I have a weed problem in my walking areas, I wanted to use some pre emergent to get rid them it lasts about 3 months to stop germination? Would get hurt the chickens in the fall?

Would be better to use mulch(or vinegar) to suppress weeds then let the chickens mix it all into garden beds come fall.
Not sure if pre-emergent would hurt the birds or your eggs,
but wouldn't want it in my vegetable garden.

For sure!
If you can confine them to the paths...
....otherwise they will likely decimate the non 'weeds'.
