Garden Coop Builders!

I am building the Garden Coop which is designed for eight chickens. I have fourteen. Would it work out if I followed the plans, but built two coops, one on each end? If I kept seven in each for a week, would they acclimate to their coops or all pack into one when turned loose? Also, I would have to extend the run, but that is no problem.

But if need be, it sounds easy enough to put up a divider

Could you just extend the coop, too, so it's larger? I think that would work better than trying to split the flock.

I have only been around chickens for four weeks now and chickens will certainly be chickens!! I am going to expand the coop as suggested. I think it will be easier and better for all. Thanks for the advice!!
