Garden crops for Chickens

I am growing crops this year, especially for the hens. This is mostly an experiment to learn if these are appropriate choices.

I have black oil sunflowers, wheat, foxtail millet, and field peas.

My interest in growing these plants was primarily guided by their protein levels and calories. As has been noted, many foods are of interest to the chickens

without doubt field peas and any small grain will be the favorite (oats, rye, wheat, etc.)
