I am new to keeping chickens, and live in a fairly urban part of town so I wanted a coop that the neighbors wouldn't mind looking at. A few have commented that they like the coop and the idea of having chickens around. I am sure there are less expensive ways to keep the egg layers, but I liked the clean look of this design.
I made a few modifications to the Noonan-Harrison plans by adding a clean out door, and instead of a plexiglass window I went with a more simple mesh window/door for ventilation on the rear elevation.
This only my second post on BYC, I wanted to thank you all for all the information I am getting from your posts.
