They are both cockerels. They both have male specific feathering (long pointed saddle feathers). It is not uncommon for just the dominant cockerel/rooster to crow and the subordinate not to until the dominant is removed.Unfortunately, they will be chicken dinner according to my husband... We are still struggling to sex them since only one has crowed and that is the one on the left from the two in the pic. The one on the right I think is a hen, since it clucks like a chicken and has started nesting. There is a ban on roosters here so he has to go or we face up to a $1,000 fine...
