It's that time of year when lots of us are planning our spring gardens. (Yay!!!) As we all know, it's important to rotate your plants every year. What I never realized was that the rotation includes plants of the same family- like not putting peppers where tomatoes were the year before.
I found this great list of vegetable "families"- and some of the groups are a bit surprising.

cool link, yes rotation, companion planting and pollination gardens are a must when having a garden especially if growing organically.

It is almost time to start my seedlings, I have been so busy with chooks that I have to keep better track of my time and get ready!


I think I need to put the computer on a timer as I procrastinate on BYC way too much as well

I've read that it's especially important not to plant cole crops in the same location.
