Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

You know, I just can't do that - too eerie! I know in the middle of winter, the ice on lakes is really thick and all, but I just can't bring myself to go out on the ice, let alone drive a vehicle with a heavy fish house out there. What's really scary is when it starts to warm up in the spring and there's warnings to stay off the lakes, some "daredevils" are still out there with their vehicles and fish houses, just tempting fate.

I know what you mean. I couldn't shake the weird feeling in the pit of my stomach the whole time I was on the ice. Some of these folks had bonfires going too. Climate change may alter the "daredevil" minds after losing a few cars & pickups through thin ice.

Ha! Hopefully, they themselves wont go through the ice, as well. I don't know what's wrong with those people - brain freeze, I guess.

Pretty picture! You have quite a bit more snow than we do but our temps are soooo cold. And they're only going to get colder for the next several days :(
We are expecting more snow this week than a temperature drop again. Still mild here though. Its those below zero teens and lower that really get your nose a running. What temperatures are you having?

Our average last frost here is April 20th!
I have had a late frost in June and an early frost in August with normal last frost around May 24 and normal fall frost around the first week of September.
