Garlic for chicks with cocci

I read that garlic is used for cocci has anyone used it here and if yes what do they feel about it

It won't work.
You need a coccidiostat such as amprolium, sulfonamides or pyridinoles, etc. What do you have access to?

I'm all about homeopathic remedies if they work but they are mostly preventative. Cocci can kill chicks so I wouldn't mess with it. Corid won't hurt them so best just start them on it if they have cocci.

To me Coccidiosis is an emergency not an experiment. So I would never try Garlic when I have Corid. My chicken's get plenty of garlic via my compost pile but it has not prevented or cured Coccidiosis.
