Hey Knowledgeable People,

I was just wondering, is it okay to put a clove of garlic in the girls water, and leave it there for a couple days at a time? I've read it good for them but it turns the water cloudy.

I've heard good benefits of garlic, I'm reading up on natural cures and prevention now

I would think to try it in one waterer and only a bit and only for a day you don't want it to get slimy I've heard suggestions of garlic powder in feed I don't think it's meant to be a constant thing, just for antimicrobial purposes and for worms

I accidentally dropped a half piece of garlic to my half rooster and she ate it right up lol

Garlic in the water is great, especially if your hens are under the weather or need an anti microbial quick boost. Dont let it sit though, best in fresh water, crushed for a half day or so.
