Look up "mammoth red mangle beets" ....... fodder beets for the frugal minded livestock feeder
I bought this seed this year along with sunflower. That will help with feed this fall for us.
We were lucky early last year to buy a another freezer that was used cheap. Bought alot of canned and we buy other in bulk too. That means less trips to store. Last time I was out it was 3.46 here which is high for a low income state. Right now I am looking for more ways to use eggs since gals are producing again so well. Need to start making noodles and drying them and get back into bread baking so that cost is gone. Heck bread here now for most is almost $3 too.
