Gas?

Uhhh...my chicken just farted...not a joke. Do chickens normally pass gas? Kind of freaked me out, just petting my Punkin...shes an EE lap chicken...and BAM! Just wondering

I have had a couple of chickens pass gas. We wouldn't have normally noticed it but we had just washed them and in the process of drying them off you could really hear it. My wife and I stared at each other when it first happened before we realized that it was the bird. You should have seen the talk it generated with our friends on Facebook when we posted that "Yes, Chickens Do Fart".
