Gasp! Could the feed store have made a mistake?!

Here are updated pictures (as of this afternoon) at six weeks old...aside from a small tuft of white down on her neck (which she is losing quickly), feathering is solid black, no other color whatsoever. Legs are solid black as well and beak is mostly black. Earlobes still flesh toned.

I’m still keeping fingers crossed for black Minorca based on what black breeds feed store had in at same time.

The store did have black jersey giants in the week before (thinking maybe leftovers got tossed in with California grays/black Minorcas when new batch arrived)...

Thoughts so far, wise ones?
I’m no expert by ANY means... but she looks JUST like my Black Sex Link pullet. She sure is cute!

This is Mally. I purchased her as a day old chick at my local TSC. She's an 11 month old Midnight Majesty Marans with clean legs and feet and she's heavily feathered in iridescent black all over with slate legs and feet. Some of the MMM have feathered legs and feet and some have other coloring in their feathers. She's super gentle and usually keeps to herself. This picture was taken last night.

Wanted to revisit this thread with an update: Gert, the feed store mix-up, FINALLY started laying recently (she’ll be a year old next month) and I can confirm she is neither an australorp or a BJG...despite her single comb and lack of beard/muffs, she’s laying a pale green speckled egg (had to bust out the trail cam to confirm).

So...just going to assume she’s an Easter Egger/olive egger mix of some sort and call it a day.
