It is in Bloomington, IN. on the 10th of April. This will be my first poultry show and I am hoping to purchase my first chicks there, or at the very least.....make up my mind what breed I want... Keep your paws crossed that I come home with SOMETHING!

We were there a couple years ago. It was a smaller show when were there. There were some very typey birds. You might not come away with the bird you want, but will probably make a good contact to get them a little later since it's the start of the show season. There was a decent sized sale area.

Good luck, have fun!

I read on the site they had over a 1,000 chickens there last year. It is a double show, I am sure that will lure a few of the big name breeders. It will be my first show I Exhibit. I don't expect anything but having a good time. If I was you get there early on Sat. Have fun!

I'm going its going to be the first show I actually show in. I'm really nervous. I'm taking a serama and I dont know how that will go!! But I plan on taking mostly ducks 3 ducks, one speckled sussex hen, and one serama hen!

We should have a little BYC meet thing there while we all wait in anticipation!

GOOD luck greencastle. I am too stupid to get nervous. I'll be right there with ya with my Red Speckled Sussex pullet. She is a late July hatch. Her mom is from TSC, and daddy is from a hatchery in MO. I went to Scottsburg IN to get an RIR cockerel. My friend who knew I was going said, "your certainly going to get the Red Spekcled Sussex cockerel for $5 too?" I said no, but I am now. lolol The hen went broody and hatched out 2 nice girls last July. Prolly taking the wrong one of the two. lololol
