I am a newbie to hatching chicks. I only have one hen, so it will take a few days before I have to amount of eggs I want. Where and how do I keep my eggs before I put them in the incubator? I'm hatching silkies for round one, and then ducks for round two. I know it can be a little different for the waterfowl, but if you know anything about either type it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You can safely keep eggs at room temp for about ten days. After that you seriously reduce your hatch rate. I keep mine in a small frig. with the thermostat set at 50 degrees and have keep them as long as a month and had a 100% hatch. Have a great hatch and
