I was just curious as to if any of you add gatorade to your turkeys/chickens water? It has vitamins and electrolytes...i dont see why not?

Please tell me if im wrong

P.S. i havent done this yet

Way too much sugar and crap. I don't even drink gatorade myself because the amount of sugar in it makes me as sick as if I drank soda in the summer. It's more sugar than electrolytes. It will also spoil real quick. I put it in a water bottle once and 2 days later it smelled awful. It took much scrubbing to get the rotten sweet smell out. If you use something like that you need to change it daily. Far better off to get a proper livestock electrolyte mix. I have a large container of apple flavored horse electrolytes I use for several of the animals. You can get ones specifically for poultry but at least the large livestock ones are closer to what they need without the added junk.
