Gave my rooster away this morning. He was lovely and beautiful but turns out he wasn't a good match for my girls. To big... he was light brahma, at first things were fine but he has three of my girls backs bare.. so I chose to give him up. He was nice and friendly kept the girls safe. But he seemed to be a little to rough on a select few of the girls... pic below...
I also gave two of the ee I got from tractor supply away also. They are 8 weeks old and crowing. Is that normal.. i kept one of them I think it may be Cockrell to but not 100% . My replacement for the rooster is the BRLW that I hatched from shipped eggs in March. He is forsure a Cockrell 5 weeks old and has waddles already...
