I should have asked first to make sure it would be ok, but one of my hens went broody and has been sitting on non fertile eggs. I take them from her everyday but yesterday I decided to give her 2 eggs out of my incubator that are only 2 days from lockdown should this be ok? I asked my parents about it and they said yes but its been a long time since they had chickens.

As long as your hens's been sitting for two weeks or more it'll be fine. They seem to have a biological clock that tells them when it's hatch time. Good luck and keep us posted.

Actually she has only been laying on her eggs for about a week, should I take them back to the incubator?

Leave them under her and see how she responds when they hatch. She's been at it a few days, so she may be quite happy and accept them. Though it could confuse her a bit...

Well I have got 2 little chicks popping in and out of her feathers and she ruffles up at anyone who comes near her. They are super cute and I just decided today that I will give her some more to sit on later on when these are bigger.

That's good that she adopted them. If you hatch more chicks you can also slip them under her with these guys. It works well at night when she's sleeping.

Another hen has decided she wants to be a mommy also, they lay on the couple eggs in there together and the Chicks climb on and under both hens, also they both seem very protective of the chicks.
