Hi everyone,

I am a complete novice from Queensland Australia. My Name is Bratt Robinsons and I have not much knowledge on any type of fowl, however I am looking to join here and learn hopefully from the best so I can stop all my fowls from dying :(

Hope to interact with you soon!

G'day and welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to our flock. I'm sorry your having problems with your fowls dying. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What kind of fowl do you have?

What symptoms are your birds presenting? You can post in full detail at "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures, " thread. Are they ill or have they been attacked by predators??

Hi everyone and thanks for the warm welcome.

I will check out the information on this forum and see if I can pick up any tips on how to be a good fowl keeper. I have tried to keep almost all fowl before but has nearly always ended in failure. I have problems with predators and also just lack of skill identifying problems or anything with the birds. Thats why I am here to research before I get more birds to fill up my Granny's backyard again :)

Glad you decided to join us.

Sorry about your past losses, and hoping you better luck with the future.

I would suggest you go back to the beginning and look at the Learning Center Articles, study on predator protection and basic poultry raising methods.
Do post questions specific to your past problems in either coop, predator or emergency forums to see if you can avoid the same issues.

Don't give up, try again.

Welcome to BYC!
