Just new to backyard chicken keeping and the tally thus far in the coop is;
2 Light Sussex pullets or cockerels ??? We don't know yet, will post some photos to see what you guys think. We reared these from day old.
4 Barnevelders pullets or cockerels ??? We are guessing one roo and three pullets, we are hoping anyway, will post some photos too
1 Wyndotte Silver Laced, we cheated here and bought her as a point of lay
1 Wyndotte Gold Laced, same as above bought on the point of lay
1 pullet something crossed with something...... We're still trying to figure out...

Hope to buy a Plymoth Rock pullet and a Welsummer pullet and go from there in the spring.

There is an Aussie thread called "Six states and one funny little island." Also they tend to hang out around the EMU threads. PS buying at point of lay is not cheating, it's a great idea.
