Hi all

just a quick note to say hello. I am a soon to be new chicken man (this weekend), I have my coop in place and I am going to the local poultry auctions this Sunday to hopefully find 2 lovely ladies to take home with me.

I am sure I will have a million questions to ask of you all - an I apologise in advance if these questions have already been answered.

G'night to you ( 1 am here) nice to meet Neil, hope you will enjoy Backyard chickens as much as we do. BYC has a very large Aussie community - the more, the merrie.

and a dandy thread "Australia, six states and one funny little island." Love your coop. You may want to visit the Learning Center, quite likely it will have the answers to most of your questions. If not let us know, we are here to help you.
