Hi all,
back into chickens after moving house a couple of years ago and having to leave them with the new home owners due to no ideal place in our new house. Now we have finally decided to sacrifice some garden to have chickens back in our lives. Have just finished the coop and now working on the run. Will probably get two ISA Browns and an Australorp, just a small group for our family of three.
Here is a pic of the coop before I moved it into to its spot in the garden.
Its all recycled materials except the cladding. I had a lot of material around after dismantling our carport some time back, all up it cost me around $180AU. I never really had a design, apart from an incredibly basic one of the front. Everything else I learnt from Googling and great pages such as this site!
