Sweet! Purple K, halotron or fe36 would be a clean agent but at least you'll save all your electronics and aluminum by not using abc.

Yeah went purple K, there's basically points and a coil for "electronics" in the burny-end of a bug. I will say I was not expecting a 2.5# bottle to be that tall. Normally I would mount it just in front of the shifter under the dash, but it wouldn't fit. It's out of the way of passenger legs there though, so all good. For 80 bucks shipped, I'm content.

White shirt is #3, who was on his way to golf practice when the clutch pedal went to the floor. Really hoping it's the clutch cable. I have one ready to go, I just didn't have a jack and stands to do it in that parking lot in 110 F weather. because my boy Clyde there is LOW.

We did prove that a '66 bug fits just perfectly on MIL's UTV trailer

Well... There's supposed to be a hook on there. Probably explains the issue... ordered a new one, won't be here for a few days.

Picked this up for a song. That song was titled "dirt cheap city"

But it's throwing a cat code and I can't get it smogged and registered unless I can get it fixed.

Oh yeah, and it's got an APR stage2 tune, which is what's causing the 02 sensor to error.

grr. If i can't get it fixed I may part it out. the mods are worth more than I paid for the car.

The tune that's in it is supposed to clear the CEL, allegedly. I'm likely going to have to have it retuned. not sure yet.
