Geese breed/sex help

I just brought home my first geese. The seller couldn't tell me the breed, but she said all the piebald ones were males and all the grey ones were females. So I thought they might be one of the autosexing breeds. Then I got home and looked at some pictures, and all the autosexing breeds have white ganders.

It's possible they're crossbreeds. They might also be two breeds, but then how do I know which are male and which are female? They both sound like frogs. They're also nine months old.

Thanks! I just love the look of the Pomeranian. Never heard of them before!

I can't decide on the sex. I might have to wait until breeding season. Their voice sounds the same, but I think I've heard both of them honk, and I think I've heard them shriek too.

Well breeding season is just around the corner usually starts in late Jan early Feb here so won't be long

My female is Toulouse she is very laid back. My gander is Embden he is a stinker. lol

I'd rather know now though so I can decide whether to buy more while they're still for sale.

So far everyone that has seen them has made exactly the same comment, "Wow, they're big!"

What kind of goslings do you think we'd get if we crossed these two (assuming they are male and female)?

Wikipedia's page on Pomeranian geese (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomeranian_goose) has a picture of a goose that's completely gray. Could they both be Pomeranians?

I don't think the gray one is a Toulouse. It doesn't look large or plump enough. It looks like an American Gray or crossbreed to me, or maybe a gray Pomeranian as stated above.

It's definitely not as large as the show Toulouse geese I've seen pictures of, but these are young and they're definitely not show birds, they were just someone's backyard birds. That might make a difference.

But I think gray Pomeranian is more likely.
