Geese breeding

I am a first time owner of geese and I have a breeding pair of Buffs, Africans, and Sebastopol that should be ready for their first breeding season. Do they need a pool or water to breed? Any advice will help!

Water really does facilitate breeding - especially with the larger breeds.

Is a plastic kiddie pool okay? I have one of those green turtles and a pink kiddie pool that can't be more than a foot and a half deep.

My geese do fine breeding in a small kiddy pool. I have a large one but we've been in drought so no telling when they will get it back.
