Geese hatching ducklings and raising them?

I haven't personally done it but I know several people who have in the past. Which breeds were you planning on hatching?

My buff gander adopt 2 goslings and 4 ducklings for a few weeks. Once they were a few weeks older he could tell the difference between ducks and geese so he sent them away. Had there not been goslings he would have raised the ducklings.
