I have 3 goose eggs in the bator, one internally pipped yesterday around 6pm, it still has not externally pipped. Should I pip it to make sure everything is ok, or leave it? It is still peeping.

The other 2 seem to be still in developmental stage..they were put in the same time though

the others may have died earlier on...I would chip the shell sway a little at a time, make sure there is no blood...make sure it can breathe easily...if there is blood STOP and put him back, make sure there is plenty of moisture in the incubator as well so he doesnt dry out..i hope this helps, even a little...

o ok well then leave them in there until they hatch, i had a duck hatch 2 weeks past its due date once...

Ok, i chipped a little. There are still some veins so I didnt do much. He is back in the bator covered with a piece of damp fleece to keep him moist.

His beak is black

is he still peeping and such? just make sure he is active....if he looks weak and near death help him the rest of the way out, he can die in there...(im sure you know that now), this is a nail biter lol

They could be pure Toulouse, Embden, African or a mix. They are from CritterBazzar on here.

He is peeping and looks ok, but I have to leave tonight to dog-sit for family, its about an hour and 20 minutes one way..

Its beak is black, with a white/pinkish tip and his feathers appear to be dark..Any breed idea's from that?
