Geese - How do you house your geese?

Mine sleep in roofed dog kennels at night. During the day they’re mostly free ranging under my or my dogs watch or in a fenced dog run.
They have a paddling pool they can bathe and play in during the day. At night they have a 5 gallon bucket filled with water if they get thirsty. I don’t like them having access to more water than that at night because more water encourages them to take baths and I like to keep their bed as dry as possible, wet bedding is a common source of aspergillosis.

Hmmmm.... a deep bucket? I might have to get one of those; I'm currently using a large dogs bowl for water but I guess they're now starting to outgrow even that.

I used to keep one of those huge tubs with the rope handles in the dog run as a big water bucket. One day Leo managed to climb in and almost drown, it was big enough for him to climb in but not big enough to stretch his wings or turn around. I was lucky to be out and heard the commotion so I was able to pull him out before he could drown.
My rule now is it has to be too small to fit in or large enough for them to turn around in, basically nothing in between a bucket and a baby pool. sometimes I even worry about the five gallon bucket, I may switch the adults bucket to shorter 8qt buckets I already use for the goslings and Parsnip “he destroyed his five gallon bucket/ I have pictures.”
I might just be being paranoid but everyone likes the 8qt buckets fine and there’s no chance of one of them drowning themselves in it.
