Hey im anxiously waiting on my goslings to arrive tommorrow but what id like to know is their level of noise.
Ok so you raise them from goslings and they begin to trust you so when they grow into adults they are well aware of you as their caretaker as well as someone familiar, so in the future will this familiarity of one another keep their honk levels down or they will just countinuosly do it for their reasons just cause that's the way they are?

what breed are they?
my goslings are arriving in 3 days, and im also hoping they are not too loud
i think that as long as they are tufted roman, buff, or pilgrim they should be fairly quiet from what ive heard

The two goslings ive ordered are Brown Chinese Swan Geese, and ive heard they can be very chatty. Luckily i have very nice neighbors who'll probably understand and get use to them and if not i'll bribe them with goslings if mine can breed succesfully when they mature lol

Well my Romans and Pilgrims usually say hello to me when they see me and they have been known to Sing for their Supper if I am late with it. The real noise comes at "happy hour" when I replace the sun warmed poopy water in their pool with fresh clean water from the hose. If it was big enough so they could all bathe at once that might cut down on the noise. My neighbors are not close but they have asked me what goes on at 5 oclock when I get home from work. More like they are interested than they are anoyed but what the heck they keep a kennel full of hounds so they san't say too much.
