Please be aware if you get a single goose you're committing to 15-20 years of being a parent. They need constant attention, they are not like dogs. They will see you as their flock and they never leave their flock.
I know. That was the plan. We run a duck farm and when we sell at the farmer's market, I was going to take one or two of the geese with me. Kind of a stunt to get our table attention, but I love my birds, and if my ducks were into it, they would go with me, too. In doing work and school from home, I will be with them all the time. That's not a problem. Years aren't either. ^_^
