At this lake there's a family of 7 goslings and they can't fly yet so that's why they're still there. There's usually other different geese there every day. Today there was the family of 7 (the original) and a random pair. Then all of a sudden I saw another pair (I think they were a pair) swimming in the lake and then out of no where the gander flew into the lake chasing the other out for some reason. Then after the pair came out of the lake they went back in, so the gander did it again, flew in the lake and chased both out of the lake. I thought that was pretty weird considering him and his mate were up on land and the other 2 were minding there own business swiming in the lake. And each time the gander would come back from chasing them he kept doing the neck display to his mate and honking real loud talking to her trying to get her attention.
