Geese Questions

I have 2 females and 1 gander. Both females are laying eggs, in the same place too. The male and one female are always together, the other female is kind of a third wheel and tends to be a loner sometimes. My question is....will geese only pair mate? I thought I had read that a gander can have a few females. This is my first time with geese so forgive me if it's a silly question.

Not a silly question. Some ganders will only pair mate, while others will breed any goose available. Others will pair mate until the goose goes broody and then mate with the other geese.

It’s exactly what sourland says, it varies. It all depends on personality with geese.
