Geese Spewing A Fountain Of Fluids

Geese are very social critters. They fly in formations, but it not unusual to see just two in the air at any given time around mating season. I recently answered a question to a 10 year old post, but I no longer see the post. I'll just post my opinion about the post here again in case someone needs some information. Someone asked the question, why do geese spew a fountain of fluid from their mouths? This is often one their defensive mechanisms when they feel destressed, threatened,

or intimidated...especially when their youngsters are present.

Never seen my geese do that, and hopefully I never do.
