Hey there!

This is an amazing source of information! This is our first time having chickens. We got them at 1 week old and they are now 8 weeks old. Can you tell what gender these hens/roosters are? I have been doing alot of reading but I am no expert so I thought that I'd consult you! Click on the picture for a bigger image.

Chick #1 Hen?

Chick #2 ?

Chick #3 ? The one on the cinder block

Chick #4 Rooster - Pretty sure

Chick #5 - Hen (pretty sure) the white one

Chick #6 Rooster (we think)

Chick #7 (black and white one) - Hen?

Chick #8 Hen?

Chick #9 Rooster - we think

Chick #10 - Rooster (pretty sure)

Thank you so much for taking a look. We think we have 6 Hens and 4 Roosters. I'm also pretty sure they are all EE's, but was told they they were Americauna's (Don't really care honestly. They are beautiful and I look forward to the multi colored eggs!)

Thanks again!

Jill

Is there anything I can do to help in sexing these guys? Better pics? Head shots / profile / comb pics?

Also you don't have to answer each one. I know there's alot of pics on this. I am looking for answers on any of them. Thank you!

What are you looking for when you are determining the sex? I was basing it on the comb (red/wider/developing faster). What would help in the pics to make it easier?
