Gender and age help!!!

so, ever since i got this chick at the feed store (all my chicks were supposed to be pullets, but i was hoping this one was a boy) i thought this one was a boy, he (she) is Named Tango and i have had him (her) for 3 weeks, but this one feathered out SOOOO FAST compared to the others, which i heard can be i sign of a boy, also sometimes he wattles and comb are SO pink! when i got him he was a little older than most chicks you would buy, this was the first day:

most of the time he has his tail stuck up, and has always been protective of the other chicks and sleeps with the smallest/weakest ones, he was also the first one to perch.

how early does that start??? if it is old enough i have no boys... ill have to get a rooster that is unfriendly.. even though i raised them all to be SO NICE! most people around here do not.

ok, thanks. i guess i was wrong! my instinks stink...LOL! i guess she is just a very wonderful protective hen! maybe she will be a great mother!

Your first posts math puts her at just over a month BUT her feathering and size look more like between 8 and 10 weeks.

oh... Wow! i have never owned chicks before so age is a new thing for me to guess! actually does that mean all my chicks are old enough to sex? i know my barred rocks and silkie are younger, but even at that what do you think? i have 2 more buff orps, they should be girls? and i know the barred rocks are pullets, but what age would i do my silkie?
