We purchased 12 chicks from. Local TSC store. We have a child with allergies so we are needing as organic and fresh as possible. We wanted a variety of eggs and birds. We picked out 4 Americiana's - straight run(I think), 2 Tetra Tints pullets, 4 Golden comet pullets, 2 Production Red straight run. We lost a tetra tint early so we are down to 11 9 week old chicks. Any help on figuring out if we have roosters or pullets would be great help as well as the americainas do not looks like americainas a friend has.

All your birds look like pullets

At this age, an Oops rooster would usually stick out like a sore thumb with a big comb.

Your Ameraucanas are actually Easter eggers, meaning they're birds of various colors that have a high chance of laying blue or green eggs. That's why they look different from each other and your friend's birds. Blue or green eggs are genetically linked to a pea comb, and from what I can see of your girls they all have a nice pea comb, so that bodes well for colored eggs!

You have a nice selection of breeds for a backyard flock and should get a nice range of egg colors once those ladies start laying

Thank You all! I was hoping we had mostly pullets. I knew the Easter Eggers did not look like Americana's that I found online nor the Rooster and Females my friend had but could not figure out what they were.
