Gender and breed help on "BR" please

*UPDATE*** I have made a new post regarding this,


I purchased some eggs for my broody girl and they were listed as Plymouth Barred Rocks, one however is showing no barring and is completely black... possibly BSL??? These pics are old ill try get some more today when im home. Theyre currently 4 weeks.

Also any help with genders when I upload updated pics would be fabulous. I kinda have a rough idea just would like another opinion.

It depends on where the eggs came from. If from a hatchery, then maybe a mistake was made.

If from a backyard breeder, then the black one is probably a mix of some kind.

In the second photo, the chick on the right is male.
