Gender and Breed

Hello, I am trying to determine the gender and breed of the two chickens in the attached pictures. They are five months old. Thank you for any help and I apologize if my photos did not upload.

Looks like a barred rock pullet - soon to start laying.

I was hoping for that. I have two others with smaller combs and wattles but this one I was worried about.

Thank you so much...I have just uploaded another pic of my second chicken in question. It can be heard crowing in the a.m. but it does not sound like a rooster. It does not do this daily.
