I'm a new member, though I've used this site as a resource many times before. I grew up with chickens and have had them on my own now for about 7 years. Though, this is my first time raising them from a baby chick as I always got them from friends/family when they were a bit older.
We got two from a local feed store on April 2nd, 2020. They were sexed and not from a straight run, though I know even sexed, you can still get a cockerel. They said one is a RIR and the other is a "white egg layer." So they're about 6 weeks old at this point.
I'm hopeful the RIR is a pullet, but wanted to see what y'all thought. She's the more shy one of the two (pics below).
As for the white chicken, I'm guessing pullet, but since I'm not sure about the breed, I was wondering what you thought. Its comb is still mostly pink but it's definitely the dominant and braver one of the two. It is definitely the alpha of the two. It's tail feathers look like they're turning up too? (pics below)
